Great piece on the F & T Dr. JR Justice.. On snuff reviews I had read a entry on this snuff which was to be polite quite confused.. Then I had the good fortune to read yours.. I have a signed copy of 'The Snuff Shop' by John Arlott and the poor fellow really didn't have a clue.. He was right on one point Dr. JR Justice is nothing atall like Asthoroth - of course because they are different snuffs.. I have enjoyed reading some of your blog and look forward to returning from time to time..

Best Wishes

Much the same as my impressions of the NUB. Interesting idea, but overpriced and boring.

Too bad.

Tim,
Glad you enjoyed the review. I would be most interested in reviewing the rest of the line but recently I have been quite caught up in finding a job and less likely to spend much money. True snuff is incredibly reasonable but I know when I get on there I'll end up buying quite a few more tins then I originally plan. You can bet more f&t will be reviewed. I just have to find the time.. Please continue to comment and if you have any suggestions let me know

Lovely post on Dr J Robertson Justice Snuff.

I like Fribourg & Treyer's original description - Dr J Robertson Justice Snuff is dark, moist and full-hearted...

Shame that when Wilsons took over production (under licence from Imperial Tobacco) of Fribourg & Treyer, that more of the older blends weren't considered 'cost effective' to continue blending.

Are you planning on doing any other posts on the range of F & T snuffs?

Best regards
Tim
